Well since Sunday I have been busy relaxing and chilling out. This week all I feel like I have done is watch movies.
On Sunday I watched a couple of movies and had time to myself.
On Monday I did wakeup. Leo was in Copenhagen visiting family so I did his morning shift for him. The rest of the day wasn't to eventful. Just another Monday.
Tuesday. I didn't have a staff meeting so I got to sleep in. In the afternoon I had to get 2 girls out of the girls dorm because they were trying to skip esktra idræt. I finally got to ekstra idræt with 10mins left. At 1830 I went to Bilka(kinda like K-Mart and Coles put together). I bought some new jeans and some presents for my nisse(secret santa). This was the first time I got them something even though it had been going on for a week. I made a big bag of chocolates and plant. At 2100 Crista an d I made pancakes for the guys in 9C class. This was really good.
On Wednesday, I missed dansk lektion again. I got to sleep in because Leo did my morning shift. It was another uneventful day.
Thursday, was my day off. I slept in until 1120. Just in time for lunch. Then I didn't do much just lazied around. In the after noon I decorated my nisse's desk it christmas balls and hid chocolates through their desk.
Friday, I drove to Vejle and picked up a parcel of food from this guy that sells food from other countries. I got myself some cadbury chocolate and Milo. I was on weekend duty so I had a late night.
Sorry that there isn't much to read this week. I am very tired because I was up very late last night. Hope you all have a happy sabbath.

Week 17
Well this week started with Juletur on the weekend. This was really fun. It was a bit like the kortur(choir tour) but it was with pathfinders.
On friday we left the school on a large double decker bus and went to himmerlandsgården. We we got there i had to find where I was meant to be sleeping. I found out I was in a cabin. After sorting out our gear we had dinner and then evening worship. All the guys in VHS8, the club I went with, had opvask (dish washing duties) on friday night. After thae worship we had supper and then the younger kids went out and did a night activity. I ended up staying and talked with someone the other people.
On Saturday I got woken up by water thrown on my face. It wasn't nice. It went into my ear. When I finally got up I realised I had missed breakfast and that church had started. After church I hang around and chilled out. At around 1530 I got asked if I could help make some lolly bags. I did help make them. I also ended up helping out with setting the hall up for the night. We had a big christmas dinner. We decorated the dining hall with all christmas things. The dinner went really well. The food was good too. The main course was whole peeled potatoes with gravy and potatoes that had been cooked in brown sugar I think it was and a nutloaf. I ate the potato and gravy and nutloaf. The sugary potatoes are not quite my thing. For dessert with had ris a l' amande which is rice cream with almonds and they put a cherry sauce on the top. It's not sweet like our rice cream in Aus. Well the stuff I make but it is good. The danes have this as a traditional dessert and that hide a whole almond in the rice. The person that finds that almond gets a present, so people eat it to find it. After the dinner we cleared all the tables and started playing games and dances. One of the things that I enjoyed was this story. People were pulled out and used top act out the story. None of the people chosen knew what the story was about. It was great to watch. I had to be part of it. I was a whale. All the people watching really enjoyed themselves having a good laugh. The games went all night. I ended up calling it quits at 0130.
Sunday we tidied and packed up. When we got back to the school I chilled out and lazied around.
Monday I woke up late and missed Danish class. In the evening I wasn't on duty till 1800. This was good gave me more time to do things that I needed to do.

In the second one I watched a movie with the 6th graders. In the evening we had a conflict with two of the students. They weren't respecting myself and one of the other sm's. We sat down with the head dean and talked to the students about how they were disrespecting us.

After danish I was going to go work on the horse fence but it was a miserable day. I ended up doing something else. Can't remember what it was though. Probably just hang around in my room. I went back on duty at 1430. I hang around in my room and also talked with some of the students that didn't go on the Vejle trip. I was on duty until 0030. It was a late night.
Thursday. I drove a student into Vejle at 730 to another school so she could do her science experiment. When I got back i went to work on the fence. By the time I had got the tractor and checked that it had deisel and it had enough oil it was 920. I had Leo and Daniel helping work on the fence. We got all the posts in now all we need to do is put on all the hooks that the fence wire goes through then it will be all finished. We finished working on the fence at 1430, in time for ekstra idræt. After aftensmad two of the 8th graders didn't want to go to andat(evening worship) and Daniel found them in their wardrobe. We took their computers off them. One of them didn't like the punishment that we had given them and he disrespected me by swearing at me. It was a fun night for the head dean on duty that night.
Friday. I woke up at 1000 and went to take my washing down to the laundry when one of the guys comes up to me and asks who is driving him to the doctors. I said that Mario was but I found out that Mario was sick and unable to drive. I ended up driving him and I drove for the rest of the day. I drove for about 5 hrs between the school and the doctors or Vejle. That wasn't to bad. I got paid to do it. The only thing is I didn't get to do what I had organised for my self to do. that night once I finished driving I had a big headache. I must have just been really tired. I ended up going to bed at 530 after aftensmad and tried to sleep. I ended being sick and took some panadol to relieve the pain. I got to sleep. I slept for about 14hrs.
On Saturday I called home and talked to my sister for the first time in 2 months. It was really good to catch up and see how she was going. I also talked to my mum told her about my plans for Christmas. After I called my parents I got ready for church. i went the church in Vejle. It was really good. I went with one of the staff and his family. It gave me time away from the school and allowed me to see some new faces. When we came back the family invited me over for lunch at their house. I really liked that. It was 1530 before I got back to the school. When I did I hang in my room for a little while. I had some visits from a few students and a few sm's. The program for the night was a Christmas concert. The high school choir, the little choir and the primary school choir all sang and performed during the program. After the program I hang out with some of the students in my room and we watched some movies.
Sunday, well that's today. I have been writing the blog uploading photos onto facebook and watched a movie.

Wk 16
Well its been a little while since my last post.
This is what happened in week 16.
On the weekend we were meant to have a Volleyball Competition. There weren't enough teams signed up to hold the competition. We still had volleyball on Saturday night though. I had duty this weekend. This meant that I had a late nights on the weekend. This wasn't to good because every night the week before I was up and on duty till 0030 or 0100.
Friday the student missionaries took vespers. This was really good. It was about thankfulness. We all talked about something that we are thankful for. I was put in charge of the video for it. I went around some of the students during the week and asked then what some of the things that they are thankful for. I got some cool answers. They ranged from being thankful for friends and family to the radiator heaters in the rooms to music. In the program we had a skit to show what the things that the students take for granted. It all started out with getting the students up out of bed and showing what they put us through in the morning. This went through the whole day up till they go to bed. At the end of each scene we showed some pictures of what kids around the world live with such as sleeping on the floor, rummaging through a tip, sitting outside under a tree being taught, begging for food, etc... The students liked the skit but I hope what we were portraying was shown through to them. After the skit each student missionary got up and said something that we are thankful for. Then we had the video I made. After the video I got up and invited Leroy up. This was pre organised but Leroy didn't have any idea that I was going to do it. I got him to tell something about his experience here at Vejlefjord. Once he had finished I also invited students to get up and share some experiences that they had enjoyed with Leroy. Some were quite funny and others were just embarrassing for Leroy. After that we got the students to write 5 things that they were thankful for. This was really good. We read the answers out once they were finished. Some of them wrote their friends and family others were being alive and breathing. At the end of the program we had students come up and thank us for the program. They really enjoyed it.
Once all the students went to bed the SM's held a late night get together. We enjoyed some food and talked abit. After this we went for a swim. We thats what we told Leroy we were doing. What we really did was set the pool up in a relaxing setting and had lots of tea light candles lit around a massage table. We had Leroy come down once we were all ready. We had 11 people giving Leroy a massage. He was quite wiry and worried that we were going to do something to him. After 6-8 minutes Leroy finally relaxed to enjoy the massage. After ten minutes he was nearly asleep and very relaxed. To his surprise, 2 of the guys went and got 2 buckets of ice cold water and poured the water over him. He was really shocked and had no idea what really happened at first. After we told him to jump into the pool to warm up but he was worried that we had done something to the pool also. We had to turn the lights on and jump in before he was willing to get in. I ended up calling it a night at 0300. The others were still up until 0430 in the pool and just talking.
On Saturday I had to make sure that the students that were at the school on the weekend went to Sabbath school and Church. In the afternoon Leo went on duty. This allowed me to have time off. During this time I went for a walk with Leroy, Nat, Crista, Vanessa and Mario. We walked in the woods around the school.
While walking we did a few things. One of them was to follow Leroy through a black berry patch on the side of a hill. this was very thick and hard to get through. Leroy ended up falling backwards to squash them all down to create a path. After walking for awhile we found a hill with lots of leaves on it and we put them into a big pile and was jumping into it. That was fun. We kept on walking after awhile and went past a frozen dam. We threw dead branches into the water and it broke the ice. After we went to a lookout that looked over the school and the fjord. It is really nice looking over everything. I left everyone there and headed back to the school to be back on duty and help Leo out.
On sunday, I was woken up by Jenny to help her find someone to do brunch pligt. One of the guys who had the pligt wasn't here. I was on duty for most of that day. I spent time in Leroy's room and chilled out with him and the out people that were there.
Monday I chilled out. Talked to Leroy for a bit to find out how he was doing. It was his last day at the school. In the afternoon I went on duty at 1630 in time for pligt. At pligt I found out that 2 of my pligt workers were put onto another pligt.
Now I only have 2 kids to do outdoor pligt with me. I got a book for all the students to write something in. They were all meant to have written something in it before 2200 but they didn't. I had to go around to all the guys and get them to write something. The girls were still writing in the book until 2300 so by the time I got through all the guys it was 0030. After all the guys were in bed alseep I headed up to Leroy's room. There were all the guys in Skrænten and some of the Sm's in there. We all stayed up because Leroy was leaving the school at 0330 to go to the airport.
At 0330 we had Crista, Vanessa, Mario, Jenny, Christopher, and myself going to the airport with Leroy. The reason why we were going to the airport at such an insane time was because Leroy's flight left Billund at 0700 and he needed to book his bike in at the airport with him. After booking we sat around the airport until it was time for us to leave. It was sad to see Leroy leave. He was and is a great guy to work with. Leroy if your reading this, Thanks heaps for everything you have done here at Vejlefjord.
After leaving the airport we headed back to the school. When we got back it was time for wakeup. I went down to the spisestue(dining hall) and had breakfast. After breakfast I went to the vagtlighed(vagt apartment) in the girls down and slept until we had a staff meeting. This was only for 1 1/2 hrs of sleep. After the meeting I had to go teach English. I wasn't really awake enough to tutor but the guys had some work that they had to do and I helped them out where they needed it. After that English class I went to the next one where I taught a class because the teacher was sick. I told the students some stuff about myself. Where I am from and live/lived in Australia and travelled around the world. When this class finished I went to the office and checked the SM mailbox. While I was there I also talked to the staff in there. They all told me to sleep. When I finally got to my room I found Leroy's sick card(same as our medicare card) and took it to the office and asked what I should do with it. The secretary took it and finished the paper work for it. She sent me back to bed. I finally got to bed by 1300. At 1430 I got woken up by Daniel I think for esktra idræt. I wasn't to pleased to be woken up. During esktra idræt I was falling asleep. I ended being awake and on duty until 2000. Everyone I saw told me to sleep. I must have looked like hell or walking like a drunked. I ended sleeping for 10 1/2 hrs.

That night I broke down whilst talking to one of the students. It finally sunk into me that Leroy had left and that I was going to leave here and leave all the friends I have made here at Vejlefjord.
Thursday. Not much happened. It was my day off. I did esktra idræt and also pligt. Leo moved into Drengebygning, the building I live in. Now there are two of us in drengebygning. This is great because now I have someone to talk to other than the students.
Friday I cleaned up my room and packed my bag to go to Juletur.

Wk 15
Week 15.
It started with the Choir trip on the weekend like in the previous blog entry.
On Monday I was incharge of the outdoor pligt. I had changed from the drengebygning to uddør because leroy was leaving and I needed to have a new work place. I worked on the horse fence for a few hours. Its still not finished.
Tuesday I taught english. Then I did the usual things that I do like esktra idræt and then pligt. I was still learning the ropes for pligt. It was the last day for Leroy as working as a SM.
Wednesday. It was just another wednesday. Had wake up in the morning. The guys are now getting slack and didn't want to get out of bed. It's still reasonably dark now in the mornings. I had to get a few of the guys out of bed even after school had started. At 9:00, I had to drive a student to the hospital. She had fallen over on the dining hall and wanted to get her knees looked at because they were hurting a lot. We arrived at the by 9:30 and we had to wait for more than 2 hrs. After the second hour I left to go back to the school because it was taking to long. After arriving back at the school I went to get some lunch. Whilst I was eating I got a call from the student to go pick her up from the hospital. I finished my food before I left. everything was fine with her. It was just bruising. In the afternoon I had to take a guy to the doctors. Then I was on duty again at 14:30 til 00:30.
Thursday. Normally my day off. I worked in the afternoon and was on duty all night. The good thing is I got paid for working that time but it was a very long night.
Friday I cleaned out the school van and made it nice and clean for the weekend.

She had fallen over on the dining hall and wanted to get her knees looked at because they were hurting a lot. We arrived at the by 9:30 and we had to wait for more than 2 hrs. After the second hour I left to go back to the school because it was taking to long. After arriving back at the school I went to get some lunch. Whilst I was eating I got a call from the student to go pick her up from the hospital. I finished my food before I left. everything was fine with her. It was just bruising. In the afternoon I had to take a guy to the doctors. Then I was on duty again at 14:30 til 00:30.
Thursday. Normally my day off. I worked in the afternoon and was on duty all night. The good thing is I got paid for working that time but it was a very long night.
Friday I cleaned out the school van and made it nice and clean for the weekend.

Choir Weekend
Last weekend we had a choir weekend where the choir practices all the songs for the big choir trip later in the year. the place we went to was Himmerlandsgården. It is the Adventist camping ground for Denmark.
One Friday night we left at around 1730 to go to the Himmerlandgården. On the way I wrote up the list weekend duty's for the students. I had a couple other students there to help me out.
When we got to Himmerlandgården, we found our rooms and had 15-20mins to unpack our bags and be in the first choir session. The first choir session was good. We sang a couple of Danish songs and an English song. During the weekend we had a total of 6 choir sessions I ended up only attending 3 of them.
On saturday night we played a few games. One of the games was a clothes changing game. What you had to do was have 4 people in a group and you had to change into each others clothes until you finally got your own. So there was 2 teams and the first people on the teams would head out to 2 different rooms and take their clothes off. All except their underwear. Then they would put on a garbage bag and run back to the group. The next person would then run into the room and take their clothes off and put the first persons clothes on. The third person would then run out and put the second persons clothes on and the fourth person would put the thirdth persons clothes on and so on. This was until they all have their own clothes on.
I had to play this game they lined me up with short people. It was not the best.
A few of the other games were blindfolding people and getting them to find out which one is the person they are after. There were a few more but can't quite remember what they are.
On sunday we had a choir session in the morning then we packed up and went back to the school.

Wk 14
Last weekend it was the Netparty(Lan party). The guys were playing computer games from 2130 saturday night till 630 sunday morning.
On the weekend I went to North Jutland(NordJyland). One of the 3G students had a 18th b'day party and 4 sm's went to it. We left at 1100 on saturday morning and arrived at her parents house at 1330. Just in time for lunch. We had a big birthday lunch. That was good.
During the afternoon we played a few games. One was a game where the seat you are sitting on at the start has been given your name and you have to get to the top seat. The other game we played was you have a circle and there is one person in the middle with a newspaper and the rest of the people are sitting down. What you'd do is have one person sitting down call out a name of someone in the group and the person with the newspaper has to try to hit that person before they say another name.
We left after dinner and headed back to the school. We got back at 2130. This gave me 3 hrs before I had to go on duty for the netparty. We had to have a sm on duty to supervise and just be there if something went wrong. That night I watched Topgear, Bionic Woman, and a bit of Heroes. It was a late one. By the time I got to bed it was around 730-800 sunday morning.
Sunday I slept until around 1330. I went and got some food then went to the pool where all the students were. I went back to bed at 1830 but didn't sleep until 2000. I woke up at around 2330 just in time for mum to call me. The call was good.
Monday. I slept in late. It was good. We didn't have danish class so I could sleep in on a monday. I was on duty for only a few hours because I got a cold over the weekend. The head dean that was on duty gave me some herbal pills to take. They made feel alot better and by wednesday I was better. I still do have the cold.
Tuesday. I had english tutoring in the morning. After lunch, I finely got all my papers and bank account all organised. Now I have to wait for my tax number to come in and my bank card. In the afternoon I had swimming for extra sport. Vanessa wasn't able to be at extra sport because one of her friends had come and visited on their way around the world trip. Late Tuesday night we had our first snow fall. It wasn't much but it was decent size snow flakes. In the morning there was some snow 1cm deep on road and grass. It was packy though. And now it is all gone.
Wednesday I had wake up duty and then had danish classes. After danish I helped out Leroy building the horse fence. I was on duty again from 1430 by myself. From 1430 till 1700 it is boring being on duty. There is nothing to do and not many students are at school. They get to go into Vejle on a weekly trip and thats what they do during that time. That night I supervised the 9th klasse do their homework.
Thursday it was my day off. I worked on the horse fence again. Did extra sport again in the swimming hall. Then I was off duty. Vanessa, her friend, Crista and I went out for a hot drink later that night. I was really good getting away for a couple of hours.

Week 13
This week has gone really quickly.
I went for a ride after lunch on Saturday with Leroy and Chris. we went along the fjord to a town called Juelsminde (yules/mina). That was good. It was my first descent ride since I got my bike.
On Sunday I burnt burnt some of the trees left over from the holidays. Leroy finished it off that afternoon with the help of some students. I did lifeguard duty also. That was good I had 4 students in the pool to watch. I ended up swimming with them.
Monday I got a call at 715 to see if I could help out in the kitchen. I did. I washed the dishes from 730-900 and 1130-1300. That afternoon I helped Leroy put up a fence around one of the fields for the horses. After dinner we had an impromptu first aid class. We got told that the class was on at 1800 and it was 1755. The class didn't start until 1830 because everyone was late. Monday we started week of prayer. Each night we have had a speaker come in and do a talk. Last night was the first English one.
Tuesday wasn't to eventful. I had folbold for extra sports. We had first aid test for lifeguard. We had to show that we knew how to do cpr on a person that had an accicdent or drowned in the pool. I had to attend the vespers it was in Danish so we had a translator. All the students kept on looking over towards us because the translator was speaking at the voice level.
Wednesday I got woken up at 230 by one of the klasse 8 boys. He had thrown up during the night all over the floor. He shares a bulk with another klasse 8 boy and sleeps on the top. When he woke me up he asked for something to clean the floor up with. I cleaned it up and got him to go back to sleep. Then at 630 I had to get up and wake the 8 and 9 klasse up so they got ready for school. I also woke the 10 klasse up to see if they were sick. None of the 10 klasse like it when I do this because their first class starts at 930 or 1015 and they always just want to sleep. Once I had done my duty in the morning I went back to bed and slept until 1130. After lunch I went out to help Leroy again on the horse fence. I drove the tractor for the first time. It is very old. Everything on it is cable, so cable brakes, clutch, etc. It is so hard to push the brake and clutch. Now I am really sore. In the evening we had a fare well dinner for Emma at you mums house. It was nice. When i got back, I was on duty. It was a late night. Once I had finished my shift I ended up watching die hard 1. It didn't finish till 300.
On Thursday I had a relaxed day and chilled out until 1430 when we had ekstra idraet(extra curricular sport). After that We had the final test for first hjaelpe or first aid. That was interesting. It was in Danish. We had the teacher translate the questions and answers for us. The test was multiple choice.
Friday was really good. We had a special service for the end of week of prayer. We had the church all lit up with candles and it looked really nice. The service was taken by a guy called Marciel from Finland. He spoke English which was excellent for me. He is Marician. After the main service the students went done to the hall in the church and they had an agape feast. While the students were there I started putting candles along the walkway to lead back to the sanctuary and turned off the lights. This made the atmosphere really nice and coming from the agape feast where it was a room with just candles lighting it made it special to walk out to the hallway that was also lit by candles. After the agape feast the students had aftenservering(supper) and could either go back into the church where they could sing a few more songs and chill out or go back to the dorm. We had quite a few students stay back. Normally they are complaining about having to go to church but this time most stayed because they wanted too. The church stayed open for the students to wander in until midnight. We had alot of them that came and prayed or talked about what they have been going through. For me this night was very long. Once I had finished all the things I had to do it was 0230. Very late.
Well that was my week last week.

Wk 12
Well its the end of the week. Well it is actually 0043 Saturday morning and I am writing this a bit late. I would normally write my entries on Thursday night not Friday.
This week. I had weekend duty on the weekend. That was good. On Saturday we had a Broget festival. It is a concert where the students would either sing or play an item. Some of the items were the choirs(big and small), couple of groups singing, a rap, instrumental by flute.
On Sunday I had the morning shift. This meant unlocking the door to hovedbygning(Head Building). When I went to unlock the door I did it at 630, but daylight savings finished that night so I found out that I opened it at 530. After opening it I went back to bed and slept for a few more hours. That night I also talked with one of the student about some things that had been troubling them. It did end up me doing most of the talking though.
Monday was another Monday. Had Danish class at 845. NICE and EARLY. And the rest of the day was normal. I got a question from one of the students that I have had trouble answering. I haven't answered yet because I am researching into in.
Tuesday I went swimming in the morning and also in the afternoon. I swam 2.6km that day. I also took my first English tutoring classes. I tutor 1 guy in 6 class and different people in 9 class. In 6 class the students had made a puppet show and had to perform it to the 3 class. The 9 class we watched October Sky.
Wednesday. I was going to go for a ride with Leroy and Chris but the weather was miserable. I ended up helping Leroy for a couple of hours build a room for a cinema in the older guys building(Scraenten). I talked to another student about a few things that was troubling them and said that if they just wanted to talk about it that I was here for them.
Thursday. I cleaned one of the guys bathrooms. It was gross. It hadn't been cleaned since the start of the year. There was black mould and grim everywhere. It's still dirty but cleaner then it was before.
Friday. I had a talk with one of the students I counselled during the week. I also taught a couple of students english. They were doing a review on the movie they watched during the week, October Sky. After class I had to take a student into Vejle to see a doctor. He was there for a couple of hours so I took two other students with me and we went window shipping. I did buy some stuff though. I got a toy giraffe(its a nickname I've been given from Leo) and a beany.
Friday night the SM's had the Vespers program. I played bass finally after 4months of not playing it. It was great. The weekend Vagt(head dean) said I looked liked I was rocking away. After Vespers most of the student missionaries went to Pia's(THE BOSS) house and we talked to her husband about a few things that were troubling us spiritually and were having trouble finding the answers. He is a pastor. WE spent a few hours there. Got back nice and late. Around 2330 I think it was.

Week 11 - Students Back at School for another term
This week the students returned from ferie.
On Friday night I went to Adrian and Sussannes home for dinner and a chat with three of the SM's and another Aussie working as in the maintenance dept. The sm's that were here on the weekend were Leo, Mario, Mariana(new from Russia) and myself. Friday night was great. We got to chill out for a bit and enjoy the night with some friends.
On Saturday, I had a bit of a lazy day. I got up around 9 and talked to mum on MSN and ate breakfast also. I didn't go to church in the morning because I had organised to go to the Cafe' church in Aarhus. All the people that went to Adrian and Sussannes home the night before also went to the cafe church. I was the only one in the group that had been there before. The others really enjoyed it. At the end of the service the past announced that he would do an english once a month. That would be really good for when the SM's go there.
One Sunday all the students arrived. I had most of the day to relax which I did. A few of the older students and the girls from the folbold team arrived early sunday morning. They did there own thing so that was great. The rest of the students started arriving after 1530. We only had half of the students up until 2130. The rest came on the school bus from Vejle.
Monday was the first day back at school and my first shift for the term. I started to be a little more strick compared to last term. During the day some of the students needed there doors opened because they gave their key to one of the other students in the school. I told them that they needed to go find their room mate or the person with their key. One of the other things I have been doing is getting the guys to be in bed at the time they are meant to be there not start going to bed at that time.
I got my bike also on monday. I got a call from the shop saying that it arrived. I had been waiting for 2 1/2 months for my bike to arrive. It was meant to arrive mid sept but it was put back to mid oct. On sunday I am thinking about going for a big ride along the fjord when I have free time.
On Tuesday we moved ekstra idraet(extra sports) indoors. The sports that the students are allowed to do are swimming, swiss ball, aerobics, Fitness/weights,and folbold. I have been put put down as a helper for folbold on tuesdays and swimming on thursdays.
On wednesday we went to Legoland. That was great fun. JEG ER SPAENDT!!!! I AM EXCITED!!! Well I was that day. It was great fun. When you walk in through the entrance you are led straight to the model area. This was the part where they had models of cities and landscapes around europe and the world. First thing we did was walk through there and have a look. After that we split up and went in small groups around the place. Mario, Leroy and I all went on the monorail to have a look at what was there. Next we met up with Leo and went up the tower and got another perspective of what was in the theme park. After that we headed to the roller coasters. They have 2 roller coaster rides there. One was a multi carriage train and the other was a 4 seater car. They were both really good. After those we went on the raft. This was fun. We all got wet on this one but it was different levels of wet. After this we went to this other ride which is a fire engine race. You have a race between 8 teams and you have to get to the other end and put out the fire then come back. Since there was 4 of us we split into 2 teams. It was Leroy and Mario vs Leo and me. Leroy and Mario won that one. After that we went to this robot ride. It is that robotic arm that you sit in. When you get to the gate you are given a card to 2 people. You get to choose what level you want to go on and what maneuvers the arm should make. After that we all met up and had lunch. After lunch we all went to the fire engine one again. We had guys vs the girls. The guys won. :P Next we all went back to the robotic arm. Then we went to the raft. This time in the raft we had 6 SM's. It was absolutely full. This was really good. We went around twice. After that we split up again and the guys went and got some survenoirs whilst the girls went on the roller coaster. We all met up in the shop. For our final ride we all went on the Canoe ride. This we had 2 groups of 4. The Canoe went around this water maze and when it got to the end it went done this big slide and made a huge splash. We went back through with all the guys in one. There was 5 of us in it. When we got to the slide we were all dripping. My shoes were soaking wet. This was the end of Legoland. When we left Billund it was around 1600. we have 1 hour to get back to the school in time for work. It was abit frustrating because all the cars in front of us were very slow. When we were driving out of Vejle we over took the bus with the students coming back from Vejle. That was good. Meant we weren't going to be late. :P
Thursday well thats today. Well it was today. No it should be yesterday since I am writing this at 0030 Friday morning. Well I went to fill in some paperwork for health card in denmark. Once I get this it means I can get free health checks. Once I got back I got my paycheck. I was excited when I received it. Since I worked at the school last week I got lots of money this pay. This will be great for when I go away this christmas. I got paid $3000dkk after getting an advance of $1500dkk on Tuesday.

One of the other things I have been doing is getting the guys to be in bed at the time they are meant to be there not start going to bed at that time.
I got my bike also on monday. I got a call from the shop saying that it arrived. I had been waiting for 2 1/2 months for my bike to arrive. It was meant to arrive mid sept but it was put back to mid oct. On sunday I am thinking about going for a big ride along the fjord when I have free time.
On Tuesday we moved ekstra idraet(extra sports) indoors. The sports that the students are allowed to do are swimming, swiss ball, aerobics, Fitness/weights,and folbold. I have been put put down as a helper for folbold on tuesdays and swimming on thursdays.
On wednesday we went to Legoland. That was great fun. JEG ER SPAENDT!!!! I AM EXCITED!!! Well I was that day. It was great fun. When you walk in through the entrance you are led straight to the model area. This was the part where they had models of cities and landscapes around europe and the world. First thing we did was walk through there and have a look. After that we split up and went in small groups around the place. Mario, Leroy and I all went on the monorail to have a look at what was there. Next we met up with Leo and went up the tower and got another perspective of what was in the theme park. After that we headed to the roller coasters. They have 2 roller coaster rides there. One was a multi carriage train and the other was a 4 seater car. They were both really good. After those we went on the raft. This was fun. We all got wet on this one but it was different levels of wet. After this we went to this other ride which is a fire engine race. You have a race between 8 teams and you have to get to the other end and put out the fire then come back. Since there was 4 of us we split into 2 teams. It was Leroy and Mario vs Leo and me. Leroy and Mario won that one. After that we went to this robot ride. It is that robotic arm that you sit in. When you get to the gate you are given a card to 2 people. You get to choose what level you want to go on and what maneuvers the arm should make. After that we all met up and had lunch. After lunch we all went to the fire engine one again. We had guys vs the girls. The guys won. :P Next we all went back to the robotic arm. Then we went to the raft. This time in the raft we had 6 SM's. It was absolutely full. This was really good. We went around twice. After that we split up again and the guys went and got some survenoirs whilst the girls went on the roller coaster. We all met up in the shop. For our final ride we all went on the Canoe ride. This we had 2 groups of 4. The Canoe went around this water maze and when it got to the end it went done this big slide and made a huge splash. We went back through with all the guys in one. There was 5 of us in it. When we got to the slide we were all dripping. My shoes were soaking wet. This was the end of Legoland. When we left Billund it was around 1600. we have 1 hour to get back to the school in time for work. It was abit frustrating because all the cars in front of us were very slow. When we were driving out of Vejle we over took the bus with the students coming back from Vejle. That was good. Meant we weren't going to be late. :P
Thursday well thats today. Well it was today. No it should be yesterday since I am writing this at 0030 Friday morning. Well I went to fill in some paperwork for health card in denmark. Once I get this it means I can get free health checks. Once I got back I got my paycheck. I was excited when I received it. Since I worked at the school last week I got lots of money this pay. This will be great for when I go away this christmas. I got paid $3000dkk after getting an advance of $1500dkk on Tuesday.

Week 10 - Efteraarsferie
Friday. All the students left to go home for ferie(holidays). I also was packing my own bag to go away. I went back to Copenhagen again for the weekend. On friday it was busy with klasse 9 doing practisk and other students attending school and also packing their bags. At pligt time my guys were busily working and trying to complete their whilst other guys were walking in and out of the dorm.
At 1600 we finally locked all the doors and the last student left.
On the weekend we had 6 SM's go to Copenhagen. We all stayed at Nat's folks place. His place would not have been big enough for all of us the go. The trip to Copenhagen was a interesting. We go on the train just to find that it was absolutely full. There was people standing in the doorway and in the aisle. It was a very long trip. It takes 2 1/2 to 3 hrs but it seemed to take 4-5 hrs having to stand all the way. When we got to Fredericia we had to change trains. at this point there were even more people on the train and we were all squashed like sardines in a sardine tin.
When we got to Copenhagen we had to try and make to next train and get tickets. We had 10mins to do this. I think we just made it. If not we got the next train. It was a rush anyway.
We finally arrived at Nat's folks place at 1930. We had a quick dinner before we got back on the train and went into the city to have a look at a festival that they had on. One of the things I liked there was crate climbing. They had two big cranes that they hooked the ropes upto that were about 20-30m high.
While in the city we went for a walk through the pedestrian street and through Radhus(City hall).
We got back at around 2300.
On saturday we got up nice and early 800, to get ready for church and Sabbath School. The guy that took ss brought up some interesting things. We all had questions that we needed to answer. After lunch we sat down and went through the bible and discussed the things from sabbath school that were puzzling us. this was great. We had to stop because it was getting late and we needed to clear our heads. We stopped at 1730. We went for a walk around a lake near by. This was great we got to watch the sunset over the lake it was sooOOO B E A U T I F U L. Check out the pics. When we got back we got some tea then we got back into studying the bible and sorting out these things that were puzzling us. We did this for most of the night. We did answer the questions though.
On sunday we went down to the harbour. Nat's farfar(granddad on fathers side), needed his boat to be towed, so Nat was going to do that then we were going to go for a cruise in the harbour. When we got to the harbour Nat pointed out the window to some land on the other side and says "That over there is Sweden." I'm just like "what its that close?"
After being in the harbour for a 30mins we find out that Nat's folks boat has a flat battery, so we couldn't do anything at all at the harbour. We ended up going into the city and show the SM's that hadn't been to Copenhagen before what was there such as the Little Mermaid, Christiania, the fortified barracks and a few more things. It was a good day.
I left everyone on Sunday afternoon to come back to the school. The SM's that were still at the school were going to go to Hamburg on sunday night for a coffee and I wanted to go with them. It was great. I never knew I could just go to Germany for a Coffee. When we got there most things were closed. We found this restuarant on a lake in the centre of Hamburg. We had some food and a drink and just chatted. We returned back very early monday morning.
Since Monday I have been burning pine trees that were cut down a month ago. The school is selling the trunks but they wanted the branches to be all burnt and any other green waste they have in the area. It has taken awhile to do this but Mario and I have gotten a fair bit of it completed. We will be still doing it next week and a few more weeks after though. The rektor(principal) wanted it all to be completed this week but its not happening.

Week 9
Well this week started out by site seeing in Copenhagen like my previous post said. I was there with Crista and Daniel. They hadn't been to Copenhagen before. Nathaniel, a friend in Copenhagen allowed us to stay with him over the weekend. He also showed us around the place. Some of the things we looked at was Christiania, the Round Tower, Opera House, Queens Palace, Roseborg Slot, Spiral Tower, and a forest near Nats parents place.
In Copenhagen we walked everywhere. It is really good to go site seeing there because everything is reasonably close. We walked around 30km over the weekend.
On Monday we returned to the school. I wasn't keen to start work again in the afternoon. It wasn't as bad as I thought. This week has been 'Practisk' or Work Experience for the Kl. 9. Some of them are leaving at 0530 and I have to drop them off in Hedensted, 10 mins drive away. I have had to do this for the past 3 days and I do it tomorrow aswell.
When I arrived back at the school I was welcomed by a room that had been touched my the hand of a few female students. Check out the pics below. I had things like lipstick to eyelash curlers, Hairdryer to sanitary pads. I even had 7 g-strings with the names of the week on them. There
was pink eveywhere.
I really liked what they did. It was better then what I thought they were going to do. I expected it to be trashed with more toilet paper and corn flakes all through my room.
This week has gone so quickly. It feels like I only just arrived back and now I will be on holidays tomorrow.
